IV International Scientific conference of young scientists in medicine

Kursk, The Kursk State Medical University, february 25-26 2010

Conference emblem is "the Green owl" (symbol of young wise man) who sits on the book decorated with sceptre of Asklepija (Doctor). The figurine executed by the Kursk sculptor, is transferred from year to year to organizers of following action.

Idea and traditions

The idea of carrying out of scientific conferences has arisen at young scientists-physicians at the First congress of young scientists of Russia which has taken place in October, 2005 at the State university of oil and gas named after Gubkin (Moscow). Then the Russian Young Scientists Council has been created, and physicians have agreed annually to meet and discuss actual problems of a science. Initiators and executors of idea are Chairmen of Young Scientists Councils of Voronezh and Kursk - Alexander Andreev and Vyacheslav Lipatov.

Conference of young scientists-physicians will be organized by Young Scientists Council of Kursk State Medical University and Young Scientists Council of the Voronezh State Medical Academy named after N.N.Burdenko at active participation and support of the Centralnochernozemniy centre of science of the Russian academy of medical sciences and the All-Russian public organization "Russian union of young scientists".
